UK government launches online UK Business Climate Hub to help SMEs transition to Net Zero

The UK’s Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) last week launched a new online platform to assist SMEs in their journey to become Net Zero. The website, called the UK Business Climate Hub, allows businesses to access advice to help reduce energy costs and to reduce carbon emissions, providing support across a range of sectors.

UK government announces further £22 million boost for renewable energy

In a government press release this morning, the UK’s Energy Security Secretary, Grant Shapps, has announced a further £22 million of government backing into renewable projects via the Contracts for Difference Scheme. The additional spending takes the budget to £227 million for the upcoming auction, which the government hopes will make the UK the “first choice” for investors
